Welcome! I'm Sheridan and you came to the right place. I am a licensed and registered dietitian with 14+ years of experience. I received my Bachelor's degree of Science from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) and completed my internship at Southcoast Health in MA. I have worked for several years at Women & Infants Hospital in outpatient counseling in addition to the Lifestyle Medicine Center through Lifespan.
I am a Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator and a Board Certified Specialist in Weight Management. I have helped patients reduce their A1Cs, improve their cholesterol and blood pressure and achieve their personal health goals!
Through flexible virtual appointments or if you prefer to meet in person, we will have one-on-one sessions where you will receive in-depth guidance centered around your individual needs.

What to expect at your visit:
Your initial visit is 60-75 minutes long where I will get an understanding of your health history, symptoms you are experiencing and health habits. We will develop goals together that make sense to you. We can meet in person or set up a virtual visit.
Some clients like to check back in weekly or bi-weekly, others prefer monthly or less often. It's all about what you feel is best for yourself. Follow ups can run between 30-60 minutes.

What to ask your Insurance:
If your insurance company is found in the above list, this means we are participating with your plan. We are happy to submit the claims for your visits; however, you should be aware that benefits for nutritional counseling can vary greatly among individuals. Not all policies contain benefits for nutritional counseling. Here you will find a list of questions that will help you when speaking to your insurance company. Located on the back of your card
